Cloud ID Broker

imageAn enterprise federation “hub” may need to federate with different partner types: larger business partners or subsidiaries, Small Medium Businesses (SMB), and SaaS service providers. As SMBs often do not have the IT skill sets or they’ve have migrated their infrastructure to the cloud, the “hub” cannot on-board all partners with a single identity federation solution.

FuGen with their MISPTM platform, offers a Cloud ID Broker that provides, either on-premise or from the cloud, the last mile integration and management of the SMBs for them to easily join the federation providing a single federated connection to the enterprise “hub”. The “hub” avoids having to have a customized solution for this subset of partners.

Within minutes, a SMB administrator can setup and configure their service from a web-based portal to join a federation.

Cloud ID brokerThe Cloud ID Broker allows the administrator to select the authenticating authority, whether it’s the enterprise hub or a social network such as Facebook, provision several realms in terms of what if any attributes are passed and mapped from the Identity Provider.

Cloud ID Broker also offers centralized logging and reporting monitoring, protocol and token translation, attribute mapping, and auditing.

The broker can be extended to also connect with an extensive number of SaaS services.
